A brilliant 700 page biography of Nelson's life up to his retirement on half pay to his home at Burnham Thorpe in Norfolk in 1797. Part Two by John Sugden with all the glory years is still to come. (HMS Pickle was not bought into service by the Royal Navy until 1800).
